The Final post

The big tast we have been set was to create an advertisement for the shakin' moo's. First couple of lessons we have been planning on what we should would and could do. We came up with several ideas but as we went along we began to realise not all of them would really work. One of the idaes was that we do something like an "explosion of flavous" kind of thing. It looked and sounded easy but as we went along we found out that it really is harder.
We did some reasearch and we found a picture from the
coca-cola company which enspired us. Zaigham used this picture and made into a poster. He had couple of problems editing the pciure so there isn't any coca-cola bottles but he managed to finish it quite well I think.

We took many photos at the shakin' moo's but we only used one or two pictures at the end. All of us had a go at taking pictures and we all looked at them and ageed on which ones are good and why. For example this picture:



The big mistake we did I think was that we did too much research on the adverts and quite a bit of planning rather than actually doing the task it self. The resources we used were mainly cameras and laptops. Also other thing I would like to improve on is the blogging. I didn't write much on my bloggs or I haven't wrote anything on them at all. So i decided to make this part of the blogg, it should include all the things there should be on there.

We had a couple of weeks to finish this task. At start we were a little bit behind and also I missed a few leeson, which made things more complicated. Although my group told me waht they did in just a couple of minutes so after all it was like I havn't missed anything.

At the last day when we were presenting our final product, we didn't have the power point presentaion ready so we had to improvise. We quickly did the presentaion and then Hadid improvised on what he said.

Making our own "company"

When we got to make our own "companys", it was harder than it actually looked. You need a good name so it atracts attension, logo, layouts and good prices.
I think it went really well, although Hadid did 99.9% of the work. I think it was quite succesfull but we sent too long doing reaserch for a good picture and then we had to rush the rest in 1 lesson. But even though we rushed it I think it was alright.
WE got to take some pictures of food and drinks aswell to spice our companies up.

The Shakin moo's

The atmosphere in the moos is really friendly. There is always some improvements that could be done though.

With our group we discussed several possible improvements such as maybe calling a famous person to come should make more people come to shakin moos. Also good one of good things they did is that they made a community of facebook, which is place where many teenagers spend quite a bit of time on.

First campaign lesson

In our first lesson we looked at some averts. The task was, if you needed a plumber and the water is leaking realy bad, you will need someone who can come really quickly and is aviable. We had to choose what avert from the yellow page we would pick and then we came up with a conlusion that the adverts most people chose were on the first two pages and the reason for it was mainly because in case of an emergency you have to choose quickly but effectivly. Then we got to make our own advert on food, we should work on this for the next 3 weeks.

'Shakin' moo's'

Today we went to shakin moo's. We met a guy called Chris who runs the place. He told
us about how the business works and what he does to make the people feel better when they come to his shop.He told us what he would like us to produce, either a leaflet or a facebook advert. We asked him some questions and he gladly answered them. I think the place it self looks really good and the staff is friendly, the prises are good also. The mr moo costume looks really cool. Zaigham managed to fit inside it and after he was done with it he put it back, but then it fell over and all the leaflets that were on the table fell on the floor.I did some reaserch on shakin moos and joined the community on facebook. From the reaserch I found a video about them and it was funny.
